De manera que el aporte de la Gentica a la medicina cardiovascular solamente podr ser apreciado en el futuro mediato. Sin embargo la nocin de futuro es cada vez menos distante, como tambin es menor la distancia que separa a los consul- torios clnicos de los laboratorios de gentica. Por lo tan- to podramos concluir enfatizando la necesidad de mantenernos permanentemente actualizados para cumplir con nuestra doble misin de aprender y edu- car.
