The goal of this challenge is to study the changes in rhythm during the final minutes or seconds of spontaneously terminating (paroxysmal) AF (PAF) to gain understanding of the mechanisms underlying spontaneous termination[5]. Current rhythm rate control strategies face serious lim- itations. This has prompted interest in alternative strategies such as preventative atrial pacing, which may reduce the incidence of AF by either eliminating the triggers and/or by modifying the substrate . . .
