Abstract: . . . Women were significantly more likely than men to have had their blood pressure checked in the last two years. Age, education, income, and race had little or no influence on whether or not adults had their blood pressure checked in the past two years. Since 1990, there has been little or no change in the percentages of adults reporting that they had their blood pressure checked in the past two years. Healthy People 2000 Objective: 15.13 Increase to at least 90 percent the proportion of adults who have had their blood pressure measured within the preceding 2 years and can state whether their blood pressure was normal or high. 19 . . . --692,1,346,784,3461
